Condo for sale. Fantastic view

We're selling our condo too -- fantastic view, right on the Western Gap across from the airport -- three storeys with a private fourth floor roof deck -- all windows face south toward the lake.

Moving to Nefoundland where the air is clean, there are no racoons (real or airline-affilliated) and the only noise comes form ships and cargo activity in the St. John's harbour -- a real shipping harbour unlike Toronto's light duty one.

Granted, one resason we're moving is that Ontario has become too expensive but the other reasons have to do with constant airport/aircraft take-off/landing noise, aircraft fuel fumes blanketing the quay and our home interior, black grit coming in windows and settling on every surface, constant tour helicopter over flights all summer all day right over our roof deck (a deafening invasion of privacy) and horrendously startling run-up roars at all hours. With the advent of regular commercial flights all of the above have become insupportable both for quality of private life and for carrying on home-based business.

For someone really into or involved with air travel, airlines and planes, our place is an ideal location and certainly a great space to live in. Know anyone in that category? We won't miss the TCCA but we will miss the Island. All the best,

Ane Christensen
