There has been concern about the rubble dumped at the southwest corner of the airport next to the beach.  We have heard from Ken Lundy, the airport manager, that the rubble has been dumped there temporarily and will be removed. 

Porter is continuing with construction of new terminal facilities to accommodate the next group of ten Q400 that will be operating out of the Island Airport by the end of the year.
