The Island Airport is not 10 km away, it is about 2 blocks from my home. It is not surrounded by industry, but by homes, schools and is a tourist and recreational destination. Can't even walk your dog - too many scary gun blasts.

There has never been and is no balance on the part of the fed government. The feds do what they want, when they want and how they want and the community has no choice but to take it. The TPA is not responsive to the community and doesn't even bother to enforce the barest requirements of the Tri. Agreement.

CommunityAir has documented the shenanigans which I am certain one day will make a very interesting case study for some Masters in Public Administration course. Even better reading in court.

If there was a modicum of interest in "balance" - the TPA would get a real dog or a real hawk to control those birds and not send out boys with guns in fast trucks.
