Medevac does not justify the Island Airport

Helicopters don’t need to use an airport – they simply need a place to land and be serviced. That can be anywhere – but best where their noise does not disturb – in an industrial area, well away from recreational, cultural and residential areas. If Buttonville closes, there are lots of places north of the City that would work.

Time to get the medevac issues put to bed. They can’t possibly justify the continued existence of the Island Airport, notwithstanding the TPA’s sporadic efforts to obfuscate this issue.
