Great points, John, but the medevac helicopters do not have to deviate around CYYZ's airspace.

For the most part they fly below the airspace. When they need to penetrate it, the fine controllers at Toronto Centre/Tower clear the traffic. Medevac's get priority over sched traffic.

Joe can clarify, but I'm pretty that hasn't changed.
