The Medevac flights Mr. Jay is referring to are fixed wing aircraft that need runways and not helipads. These do in fact carry transplant organs, critical patients and sometimes surgeons going from Toronto to another site to perform surgeries.
Sometimes these come in and out on JETS which are allowed for these specific circumstances.
Don't confuse the 2 types of aircraft in question - Helicopters and fixed wing aircraft.
