I didn't have to name Porter since your comment was the equivalent of referring to an orange as a round "orange" colored citrus fruit. I am well versed in the art of sarcasm and only sought to relay my disappointment in the subject matter of the "joke".
I read these blogs regularly and although I do NOT agree with the Community Air objective of closing the airport, I do feel sincere empathy for the frustration residents have in dealing with Porter and the TPA. I truthfully wish I had some solutions for you other than to keep trying and to use all means available to you (i.e. noise complaints etc...) I took issue with your comment knowing full well it was tongue in cheek because you cannot expect empathy and support for your cause if you make light of another person's misfortunes. The anti-airport community is seen in a negative light by many who don't live on the waterfront and your jokes will not help that perception. In fact, my MP, hand wrote me a letter with some negative perceptions that some of their colleagues in Ottawa have of the anti-airport establishment. I am in NO way trying to become the morality squad but I am telling you that everything you do and say can and usually will be used against you in the court of public opinion.
