More Bridge Comment
Oiy! Here we go again - enough about the bridge.
The Island Airport doesn't need a bridge for emergencies:
~ the Police Marine Unit is a scant block away by water - - no traffic or broken switches on bridges to worry about
~ the Fire Dept and EMS are less then a block away by H2O, ably ferried by William Lyon McKenzie (with multi-directional fire hose)
~ finally, Medevac is headquartered on the the Island and can fly anytime, anywhere and whenever.
Really, do you not think it would get just a tad crowded over there with all sorts of police cars and ambulances added into the mix?
