Comment on safety

A correction to comments made by Mr. Ball.

The TCCA does in fact have 2 ILS approaches - RWY 26 & 08.

The weather limits for these approaches are not as favorable as the ILS approaches at Pearson because of obstacles near the approaches (i.e tall masted ships, Tip Top bulding etc...). The more demanding weather limits for the TCCA ILS approaches make them actually safer since the pilot MUST have the runway environment VISUALLY at a point further back and at a higher altitude than they would at Pearson.

Take Care!
Joe
