TPA Admits Curfew Violations

Thank you for your email.

You are correct that Flight POE418 from MontrĂ©al did land after 2300h, at approximately 2320.  The second flight was from Mont Tremblant, Flight POE413, and arrived at approximately 2329.

There are no records for an aircraft with registration C-GHVE for any type of movement during the time mentioned.

With respect to curfew violations at the airport, we are taking this very seriously.  As you may know there were several incidents over the holiday season as well as these recent two late arrivals on January 18.  All of these incidents are under investigation with the airline and we expect to have a report to our Board of Directors on these incidents within the next month.

(Editor's note:  It is fine that the noise Management Office says they are taking curfew violations seriously, but there have been a number of violations of curfew and they seem to be getting more frequent.  Porter is buying more aircraft.  If the current pattern continues that means there will be more curfew violations.  When is the Toronto Port Authority going to enforce the curfew regulations at the airport?)
