January 18th is the record for Curfew Violations
As Porter Airlines buys more and more aircraft, and the number of flights at the Island Airport ramp up, there are more and more violations of the 11:00 pm curfew. These are the violations of one night -- January 18th.
Flight POE 392 from Chicago landed at approximately 23:35;
Flight POE 418 from Montreal landed at approximately 23:24;
Flight POE 964 from Mont Tremblent landed at approximately 23:36:
Flight POE 264 from Ottawa landed at approximately 23:41;
The Toronto Port Authority appears to be unable or unwilling to enforce the regulations governing the operations of the Island Airport. It is time that the Port Authority was dissolved and replaced by the City of Toronto, who have promised to enforce the regulations.
