A New Comment on the Chairman's Words

Speaking of twisting words - I did not recall writing that 600,000 passengers were "a few", so I re-read my earlier post (http://blog.communityair.org/2009/01/14/comment-on-mark-mcqueens-remarks.aspx).

I didn't recall because it was not there. My post simply raised the question of whether 600,000 was actually referring to passengers or trips, possibly repeated trips made by Porter faithfuls living outside Toronto.

Similarly, I do not recall any of us Community Air supporters ever claiming that the "entire" city was against the island airport (just maybe a majority of residents, once informed of all the issues).

What I was also alluding to was that surely, the very real opposition to the airport, however measured, does extend beyond M. Vaughan's riding - I being a prime example of those opponents.
