MRM's comments suggesting that NIMBY syndrome is in large part responsible for many people's objections to the Island Airport is an obvious comment but not accurate.

When our federal government and a federal agency choose to ignore or conveniently change the goal posts to allow the operation of a private business at the expense of tax payers, the environment, and the human beings located in residential neighbourhoods that surround that private business, is ethically repugnant.

I hope MRM reads both Mr. Isler's comments and the last entry to the blog from Mr. Gabriel David which is an excellent entry and a more accurate reflection of how many people feel about how our waterfront should be.
