Remembering Allan Sparrow, all I can say is, thank you. For all you have done for us. we are eternally grateful.

What can I say, without prejudice, that hasn't been said before except that the TPA is one gigantic FRAUD.

It privileges one self-interested person, who wanted to possess his very own airport using public funds. And heaven knows there are not a few elected officials connected to this. There's probably a clinical term for it, and perhaps even a legal one, since all sorts of duly established protocols have been abrogated to keep the TPA just barely alive.

Oh, and it is antithetical to our hopes and plans for a clean and green waterfront.

Sir

As a resident of the Queens Quay and Bathurst area I have read your arguments against the Toronto Island Airport with interest and whilst safety concerns over a runway where the approach and take-off flight paths are over water baffles me somewhat, your environmental concerns have merit.  I must however take issue with your chosen form of protest.  Now that summer is almost upon us, come Friday afternoon, myself and many other local residents would like to be able to open our windows and enjoy the views and sounds of the waterfront location that we pay so handsomely for as we relax after a busy week.  The incessant and tuneless beating of a drum for over an hour does nothing for your cause except to irritate those residents who may otherwise lend you their support.  The noise pollution you cause is infinitely more irritating than anything that the airport can provide and I respectfully ask you to reconsider this tactic.

Sincerely  Andrew Barrow.
