Where are the TPA Financials?
The Toronto Port Authority is required to publish financials every year. The 2006 finaniancials were signed off by the auditor, Deloitte, on March 9 and the 2005 financials signed off on March 6. They were published soon afterwards.
As yet there has been no sign of the 2007 financials. Roger Wilson, a corporate lawyer and member of CommunityAIR, says, "good governance, particularly for a business regularly losing serious money, required that the directors promptly publish those Audited Financial Statements and call and hold the Annual Meeting within 60 days of the date the accounts are signed off by the Auditors."
