The Davids and the Suzies
The Community AIR fund raiser on April 24 at the Tranzac Club on Brunswick Street will feature The Davids and Suzies. The five members of the group are well-known Toronto musicians and friends who work together frequently as five-sevenths of 'Betty and the Bobs", and often can be found at Toronto's Hugh's Room and festivals across Canada.
As The Davids and the Suzies, they will perform a wacky and energetic mix of country, blues, folk and R&B served up with a generous helping of humour and virtuosity that will leave you spellbound. They love to perform and are an absolute joy to dance to, sing along with or just watch and listen. Get ready to hear a bunch of old tunes we all grew up with -- country, blues, R&B, Beatles, gospel, Cajun and old jazz, as well as some crazy and original songs that will leave you begging for more.
